
Gerhard Lettl (from C. F. Maier Group) and Michael Polotzki (Menzolit) retired from the executive board. “Both were honored for their many years of outstanding commitment to the work of the executive board, the management of various working groups and seminars and, in the case of Mr. Lettl, for his leadership of the AVK Innovation Award jury,” says the press release from the AVK. On this occasion, the AVK awarded these 2 former members the AVK Honorary Award, a newly created distinction that recognises the great personal commitment of these 2 men.
The board elected Nicole Stöß, General Manager of Polynt Composites, and Ralph Breiltgens, Managing Director of Kunststoffverarbeitung Reich, as new members of the executive board.
The same day, the following board positions were /confirm/ied: Dr. Michael Effing (AMAC) as Chairman of the Board, Dirk Punke (Büfa) as Deputy Chairman. Prof. Jens Ridzewski, Prof. Dr.-Ing. (Applus+IMA) as the holder of the office of treasurer.
The executive board will commence its new term of office on 1 January 2026 and remain in office for 3 years.
