Composite materials company Angeloni Group (Venice, Italy) has officially completed its merging with Selcom Srl (Treviso, Italy), a process that began in 2022.
“The merger,” explains CEO Carlo Della Bona, “is aimed at optimizing our operational structure and enhancing the efficiency of the services we provide to our clients. The two companies began close collaboration immediately after the acquisition in 2022. Our production capabilities and know-how are complementary, and we have essentially ‘walked together’ over the past 2 years, sharing goals and integrating our expertise. With this final step, we eliminate the last remaining divisions and become one unified team.”
Founded in 1992, Selcom specializes in the production and sale of multiaxial (nonwoven) fabrics made from carbon, glass and Kevlar fibers —expertise that has enriched the Angeloni Group’s portfolio.
The group now operates across five locations:
- Two sites in Quarto D’Altino (management/logistics and production of unidirectional fabrics)
- Two production plants in Lombardy — one in Lesmo (Monza and Brianza province) for weaving, and one in Castano Primo (Milan area) for resin impregnation
- One site in Treviso (Selcom).
Angeloni Group, now part of the Michelin Group, has a total turnover of nearly €90 million and employs more than 200 people.
